This person wants YahooGroups running on his servers.

I’ve often said that YahooGroups is the best community software because they use the best aspects of email AND the web…

• You don’t need another intray, email is good
• People are already familiar with their intray, their way of doing things etc
• YahooGroups lets you use the web to search the archives, so you have to subscribed to a list, or have your email client to hand to get your answer or have your say.
• Because YahooGroup discussions are web pages, you can find messages with Google.

I wonder if YahooGroups could be implemented as a SOAP service? You keep your data, contacts, messages etc, but Yahoo manages it…. What do you think?
