I see there’s still not a single comment about this site, other than my own. It took a year’s labor to put together, and still no one comes. Just wait ’til I finish my Stones site for nose flute. That should get me a pretty girl. You think?
Hi – The Ukulele Beatles site is brilliant. What programme did you use to get the ukulele fingering?
Just found this site after looking to see if you had any other similar ukulele sites. i’m just learning and I find it VERY helpful!
THANKS!
Heres a comment:
Fucking brilliant man . When I first saw it I was up all night playing Dad’s old Martin . I called Jimmy Buffett (actually his office we played in coffee houses back when dirt was bing invented) and told him about it . Imagine thousands of little Japanese kids paying Chinese ukes and singing ” Why dont we get drunk and screw!
Simply put your site is amazing to me as I have been giving thought to teaching middle school kids to play guitar by starting them on Uke first
reasoning that Beatle songs would be the least offensive to the current generation of melody challenged rap heads and along comes your site Please do not be discouraged your day will come I am gonna see to it you get at least a Grammy for this how the hell did you ever put that site together and do you think there is a place in this world for a beatles charang fun site . Seriously if more people played the uke and if all the car horns were in the circle of fifths we would have peace on earth at last God bless you and have a great musical Christmas

PS I told David Crosby about your site and he told me to change my medication . He should know

Excellent site. Am trying as hard as I can. Is there any way of loading this on to my computer so I do not have to be logged into the internet all the time?. I would also like to down load tunes on to my lap top or get it on Disc so I can play it on my laptop when away from home. Most excellent site.
What a site!!! As an ancient Ukeaholic, its discovery is like coming home…A long cold drink in a hot desert…Keep ‘em coming…Bob Ingram gave me your form & he should know!
I have been hummin’ ‘n strummin’ for about 83 years…Is this a record? I think it is here, Down Under…

COOL SITE.
Hiya! I’m 18 and a huge fan of The Beatles, I’ve been raised with listening cuz my dad loves them too. I found this site and went out and bought a ukulele just so I could play these songs. I’ve never played guitar or anything like that before, and after only a month I can already play several of these songs! Thank you so much for making this site, it’s ridiculously well done and makes it very easy to play well. You should put a link to this comment site on the main page, though, because you’d probably get a lot more comments. I only found this blog by chance. Oh yeah, and please add more songs!!!

Man, am I sorry I haven’t checked into this blog recently! I’m the guy who put the Beatles site together and added the first post on this page. A month later I return to see all these comments and questions. First off, thanks to everyone for complimenting the site. To C Raccoon: I will eventually add two more songs: Hey Jude, and Across The Universe, then I’ll improve a few of the recordings that are now so embarrassingly bad, and that should wrap it up. To Mark Huston: the entire site was done in Macromedia’s Flash MX. The music tracks were recorded with Bias’s Peak. To Mozo: you’ve got to be the coolest 83 year old I’ll ever encounter; I want to be like you if I ever grow up. To Rod Horton, if you want me to make you a CD of the songs and send it to you, I will. To Chris Miller: I’m planning a site of Tin Pan Alley standards right now. To Bob Ingram: thanks, first, for helping to invent dirt, and for the most excellent references. It is appreciated!
BEAUTIFUL! thank you very much for the time and effort. my brother just bought me a uke today and i stumbled upon/was led to your sight within an hour. we are both fans of the beatles and he commented that if one existed, i should go grab a beatles/uke book. my fathers on his death bed in the room next to mine so i wanted to let you know that this will be a great comfort to me during this difficult time. thanks.
This is to Rick Marsh. I just found your Fun With Beatles web site. That is one of best sites I have ever found. I must have called five or more friends to tell them about the great ukulele site. I would like to know if you have a dvd or cd version in a tutorial foremat? let me know.We 58 year old hippies love this kind of stuff.
To Jeff: I’ve recently been through a similar situation myself, and I congratulate you for being a good and loyal son, in so far as you were able. To Lee: email me from the site (the Free Tuner page) and I’ll accomodate you.
I just found your website and my hat’s off to you. Great stuff. I’ve forwarded it to several friends.
Wonderful site with the beatles, im a huge fan of both them and the uke. However i also am quite a fan of Mr. Jimmy Buffett and was wondering if anyone knew where i could find tabs for his songs.

I am a fan of The Beatles that lives in Japan. It was surprised by the novelty of the progress of the code of the melody that they had made. The tune was made for myself referring to the code progress. I introduce it because I started up the Web site where they were collected. Please access it once.
