Despite the hot Drupal news…
..in many ways Drupal disappointments me, in that, given a permissions model, and “modules” and everything… it never seems to quite work as planned. I had a terrible time trying to add a module called Organic Groups…. and recently, having a spent lot of effort working with an expandable Types module (called CCK, to let you create your own types of objects)… found my site denied access all over the place.
I sometimes get the feeling that Drupal is very clever but not half clever enough.
