How true does this bell ring for you?
The new work ethic is just paying attention.
It’s might be worth pointing out that whilst writing this post I watched an excellent video about the ebb and flow of countries as we know them (via) and then wondered why on earth you’d ever want a Wireframe stencil. I mean, how hard is it to draw a button or a box?
For some reason I quite like the idea of a suggestion Box for local companies at Half Bakery. It strikes me this’d be a great web2.0 app for someone to whip up before bedtime. One of those great paradoxical “until it is there you don’t realise how much you’d miss it” ideas. If you know what I mean.
I loved the Onion’s You Tube Challenge to make a video that “Actually Good”… and the intro to CouchDB, a database that has no schema.
On another note, I could feel my usability bone grumbling at the teapot above. Yes, it’s beautiful and the handle looks a dream to hold. I question the 2 cup capacity because where I come from the “top up” is an important part of the ritual. But the reason my tea-making heckles are up, is that deep down, I bet it doesn’t pour without dribbling. There must be millions of teapots made every that dribble and it make me wonder why that problems hasn’t been solved once and for all.
The fact that both you and I are still here now means we’re both slackers. Put the kettle on.
